Pinterest API Prototypes

As an in-house Creative Strategist with Pinterest, my role was to help brands discover their full potential on the site. Like other popular social media and search platforms, Pinterest offered the usual portfolio of digital ad placements that brands were used to developing (i.e. static images, 1:1 video, 16:9 mobile video, carousel). However, where Pinterest sets itself is apart is the ability to develop unique experiences utilizing the site’s API and user information to create truly personalized experiences. To help our creative teams and sales partners sell-in these API ideas, I developed templates in Adobe Xd so that our team could mock up real-life examples that could be shared right on a client’s device. The templates were successful in building upon existing advertisers and bringing in completely new brands to the Pinterest site.
